2.4.7. Editor-in-Chief (Can publish issues, edit templates & config) (50)
- Can mark assignments as Approved for Publication (See Web Publishing). Once assignments are designated as approved, they will become available online as soon as the issue is published. If an assignment is published after the issue to which it belongs, it will become available immediately. Once an assignment has been approved, any user with less than an Editor-in-Chief access level will be unable to edit the content.
- Can publish and un-publish issues (See Web Publishing).
- Can edit and create web, print, and mail templates for the publication's website and for staff members' use (See Templates).
- Has access to the administrative panel, which includes the following functionality (See the Admin Section):
- Can add, edit, and delete issues, as well as change the current working issue
- Can add, edit, rank, and delete sections
- Can add, edit, and delete default interests
- Can add, edit, and delete homerooms, if this functionality is enabled (it can be enabled/disabled in the homeroom panel)
- Can use the file manager (upload/rename/delete files and directories)
- Can edit values in the advanced site configuration panel (see Site Preferences)
