iWebPress requires very little information for a user: a first name, a last name, and either a password or a date of birth. A username will be automatically generated based on a user's name and can be changed if you have a sufficient access level. If a user doesn't provide a password (you may be mass adding staff members, for example), but you have their date of birth, the DOB is used as a convenient temporary password (just like all dates in iWebPress, it will be in YYYY-MM-DD format).
