iWebPress iWebPress: User Guide

2.3.3. Advanced Searching

The Advanced Search drop down allows you to search additional fields associated with users. Most of the search options are self explanatory. However, some of the more complicated parts are discussed below.

In

The options under in allow you to specify which fields to search in the search text field above. This also allows you to specify whether the search text must appear in any or all of the fields you are searching.

DOB

Searching in the Date of Birth field is possible using this field. It searches the string you enter in the Date of Birth. Remember Date of Birth is stored in the iWebPress date format (YYYY-MM-DD).

Activated

This specifies whether to search in users who are only activated or inactivate. More discussion of what an Activated Users is can be found in the Users: Administrative Settings section.

Show article status

Checking this box allows you to see (using the article status icons from the Find Assignments page) the status of all the assignments for that user (i.e., if any assignment is overdue or uncompleted, it will be marked as such).

For Issue

Allows you to change which issue to use to determine article status.

Options

As the options imply, you can chose to Show photos (enabled by default), Print the users as a list, or change the number of results per page. You can also change the results per page in your profile, which will affect the entire iWebPress application for you.
