Maximum number of assignments
The Find Assignments page by default shows all the assignments in the current issue. It will show as many assignments at a time as is configured in your profile (the default is set to a maximum of 25 assignments at a time), and will put any additional assignments on separate pages.
Quick searches
You can quickly find various assignments by selecting one of these quick searches. It will limit the results below.
Search for
This field will search all the assignments in the current issue. By default, this will search any of the Title, Description, Body fields. You can use wildcard characters in your search.
The single character wildcard is used for searching just a single character. To search for the words "student" or "students," you could write "student_".
Status Icons
At the bottom of the Find Assignments page, there is a key explaining all of the status icons to the left of the assignments.
The first icon is used to show whether an assignment is accepted or rejected (see the Ranking & Accountability section for more details on assignment accountability). Clicking on the hand allows you to accept the assignment (if it is not already).
The next shows whether the assignment is an article or image. If the assignment is an article, this will also show whether content exists in the article yet.
The next icon shows whether the assignment is completed, uncompleted, overdue, or approved for publication. Clicking on this icon allows you to mark the assignment as completed.
The final icon shows whether or not a rating exists for an assignment. Clicking on it allows you to rate the article.
Sorting
You can sort the results of your search by any of the columns (including the icons). You can do so by clicking the column heading (or arrow above the icons).
See Advanced Search for more advanced searching.
