iWebPress: User Guide |
Rating
This field allows you to rate a story (on a scale of 1 to 10). Ratings are used internally and only are accessible by Editors (writers cannot even see their own ratings). Ratings are further used to calculate a user's average rating. This data is invaluable to some organizations, and can be used to track a user's writing or progress level.
Add Comment
Every time you edit an assignment, you can optionally leave a comment (which will be displayed in the history field below). Regardless if leave a comment, an entry in the history table will be made describing what you did to the assignment (edit, signoff, add, accept, rate, et cetera).
Comments can be used to tell other editors things about an assignment. For instance, "This assignment needs another quote from Mr. Smith." The comment will be displayed next to the entry in the history table below for the next editor that comes to edit the assignment.
History & Previous Comments
This displays a history of who made changes to this assignment. If this is an article assignment, there is an option to "Compare" the assignment. Clicking compare will popup a window with all the changes made to the assignment displayed in a visual manner.
